Mosier ( PA / NC / IND / MO ) I am searching for the parent's of John Mosier, records indicate that he was born in NC abt. 1800, he married Hester Burris Jan. 13, 1839 in Morgan Co. Indiana and is believed to have died abt. 1859 or 1860 in Morgan Co. Apparent children are Rachel, Rowland, Samuel, John, Thomas, Mary, Abbey, Elan, Caleb, James and Adam. Moser ( Germany / IL. ) I am looking for Moser information in Germany. Anna Margaretha Moser, b. Apr. 1, 1824 in Hassloch, Bavaria and d. March 26, 1883 in Belleville, IL. She married George Chritoph Voelkel (Voelcel). Anna's father was Jacob Moser, born c. 1786 in Hassloch, Bavaria. Her mother Anna Maria Bersche?, born c. 1792. Anna's sister was Marie Elizabeth Moser, born June 14, 1815 in Hassloch. Maria was George Christoph Voelkel's first wife, and died Mar 11, 1840 in Hassloch, Bavaria.

Moser ( England / NC / FL ) I am a Moser descendant and am interested in sharing my family history. However it consists mainly of English Mosers apart from a very small group in Florida and North Carolina. The family tree starts in Westmoreland, England with the marriage of Robert Moser and Mark Birkett, July 24, 1613. Other surnames include Atkinson, Wilson, Borwick, Swainson, Dixon, Stephenson, Porter, Newby, Crawshay*(there is quite a bit of information on this family and others marked with*), Nash, Williams, Hiscocks, Wynn, Taylor, Sheddon, Woodwark, Hinton, Sharpe, Green, Glover, Winch, Connolly*, Horn-Mullis, Stanwix, Reilly, Daniels, * and Edney*. Mosier ( MD / IA / IN / IL / KS ) Researching the family/parents of William Mosier born c. 1816 Maryland, county unknown. Married Nancy, surname unknown, about the same age, b. NJ. William's parents reportedly were John and Nellie, but have been unable to locate any proof of what family he came from. Census records indicate that William's father was also Maryland born. Eventually, the family settled in Bourbon Co, KS where William and Nancy died. Moser ( TN / KY ) I am looking for the parents of Henry Moser, born around 1824 in Washington Co., TN. he married Sarah Bowman in 1844, later settled in Barren Co., KY, died in the Civil War 1862. Possible his parents died or were killed shortly after Henry's birth. Possibly the same or a sibling of a James Moser who was adopted at an early age by Martin Kitzmiller and later James Harvey to learn the trade of blacksmith. Moser ( TN / NC ) Looking for my uncle;s family- Thomas B. Mosier 1900-1966 born to Jacob and Sallie Howard Moser in Monroe Co., TN. He had a son Thomas B., Jr. who passed away in 1994 according to the SSindex. Moser / Shearon ( Tishomingo Co., MS. ) Researching Solomon Moser family of Tishomingo Co., MS. His daughter Lucinda,  married Joseph M. Shearon ( variously spelled Sheron, Shering, etc. ) and were living in Tishomingo County in 1850. By 1860, Joseph was apparently dead, for Lucinda was then listed as head of household, and her father Solomon Moser was residing in the household. I will gladly swap data on these families. I have more info on the Shearons than on the Mosers and need help on the Moser line.

Mosher ( Book )  I am trying to find out if and where I could purchase the Mosher book titled Descendants of Hugh Mosher and Rebecca Maxson through 7 generations. Moser ( PA ) I am researching my Siegfried family from Pennsylvania, while reading a book on the Siegfrieds, I found that my g-g-g-g- grandfather married a (Maria) Margareth (or Margaret) Moser. The book had a short history about Johann Martin Mosser (changed to Moser) and Margaretha Mosser. It claims that Johann was from the Canton of Bern, Germany and arrived in Philadelphia, PA in 1727. Johann Martin died in either 1743 or 1744. Their children were; Frederick, Barbara, Philip, Michael Burkhard Moser, and Margaretha (my relative). If anyone is interested in what information that I have I would gladly share.

Mosier  ( NY/VT/NH ) My 3rd great Grandmother was Almira Mosier. She was born abt 1813 possibly in Washington Co. NY or Vermont (although her death certificate says New Hampshire). She married Harry Whitney Bullock of Allegany County, NY about 1834. Mosier ( Illinois, WA, ) My father's grandfather was James Marion Mosier. He was born in illinois on May 15, 1863, and died in Sultan WA in the spring of 1954. His wife was Louisa Letitia Charles, who was born in Xenia KS january 3, 1868. They were married on May 23, 1886. She passed away in Sultan WA August 4, 1935. Would be happy to share information I have. More is known to me about the Charles family prior to this pair. Have information on descendants of James and "Lettie".

My grandfather was Ulysses Grant Mosier Jr. b. Jun 25, 1902 Denver CO. and married Marjorie Christina Slover. Eli out of PA then to MO, Civil War and he moved north to IA, CO. and maybe Oregon. Brothers Cyrus and Cross both served the North during the civil war. One of them spent 14 months in Andersonville Prison and the other died of Black measles. Any help in this area would be appreciated.

6/7/98Mosier ( IA,AR,TX,MO ) I have been working on my mother's family but have seemed to run into several roadblocks. Our family really moved around quite a bit. My gr-grandfather was John W. Mosier he was born in Iowa I have not found them on the census there as of this time. I found them on the 1880 census in Benton Co., Arkansas as that is where my grandfather was born. 1900 they were in Grayson County, Tx., 1910 & 1920 in Washita Co. Oklahoma. They were in Missouri in 1870 as three of their children were born there but have not found them on the census at this time. I found a Aaron Mosier and Charlie Mosier family in Benton Co., Arkansas, Charlie has his mother living with him by the name of Catherine. I found a Rufus Enoch Mosier and a Catherine Meyers on a ancestral file as parents of Aaron Bell Mosier. John W. Aaron and Charlie all say they are born in Iowa their father b. in N. His father, who was a Quaker, is believed to have been born in Wappingers Falls, Dutchess Co., NY. Lewis Livingston Mosier married Mary Catherine Van Wagenen, a daughter of Abraham Masters Van Wagenen and Rebecca Bogardus of Creek Locks, Ulster Co., NY. 9/30/98Mosier ( WI, MO, CA ) I am looking for information on Luelen, Lou, Elen(she went by all three names) MOSIER who married Littleberry JOHNSON. The only information I have of her birth is from a local funeral home saying she was born in Wisconsin. She married Littleberry JOHNSON 17 Dec 1876 in Lawrence Co, MO. Their children are:   1) Dellie Johnson 2) Mary Myrtle Johnson b. 13 Apr 1888 in MO 3) Bessie Johnson 4) Minnie Johnson 5) Charles Johnson 6) Sarah Johnson I was told Mary Myrtle came to California in a covered wagon in 1905.
