Eli C. Mosher, Photograph, born in Antwerp, October 6, 1863. His parents were Norman Mosher, born in Philadelphia, Nov. 29, 1829 and Julia A. Snow Mosher, born in Wilna, N.Y., Aug. 19, 1836. He was educated in G.W. Seminary and married Jan. 24, 1894, to Florence L. Henderson, Photograph. Mr. and Mrs. Mosher are the parents of L. Evadel and Helen A. Mr. Mosher was a farmer until a few years ago when he took up the carpenters' trade. He is a charter member of the Parker Camp, S. of V., past presiding officer of the Royal Arcanum and member of the Brotherhood of St. Paul. Mrs. Mosher was born at Wegatchie, Aug. 14, 1872. She was the daughter of E. E. Henderson and Mary Wilcox Henderson. Is a member of the Methodist Church, and Supt. of the Junior League. She has conducted a millinery business here for five years. His portrait also appears in the Arcanum group and also in Fire Co., No. 1 group.


George Freman Mosher, Photograph, born in Wilna, Jeff. Co., 1854. His parents were Norman Mosher, born in Sterlingville, Jeff. Co., N.Y., 1829, and Julia A. Snow Mosher, born in Wilna, 1837. He was educated in Antwerp and in 1878 married to Eva P. Miller, Photograph. Mr. and Mrs. Mosher are the parents of four children, Lyndon, Archie, Norman and Claud. His occupation has been that of a farmer his entire life.



Julia A. Snow Mosher, born in Wilna, Jeff. Co., N.Y., Aug. 19, 1836. Her parents were Jonas Snow, born in Putney, Vt., April, 1790, and Mary Davy Snow, born in Springfield, N.Y., Dec. 1792. Mrs. Mosher was married in 1853 to Norman Mosher and is the mother of George F., Eugene H. and Eli C. Mosher. She was post-mistress at Homestead, N.Y., 12 years. Member of the Methodist Church, Gouverneur, and member of the Gouverneur Grange, No. 303. Her late husband, Norman Mosher, enlisted in Co. D, 186 Reg. N.Y. State Vols., Civil War. Her father was a veteran of the war of 1812, and her grand-father, James Snow, died in the Revolutionary Army.


Charles L. Mosher, photograph, born in Philadelphia, N.Y., Jan. 15, 1852. His parents were Leonard W. Mosher, born in Mohawk, Feb. 10, 1811, and Margaret S. Strickland Mosher, born in Philadelphia, May 18, 1816. He was educated in Philadelphia and married in 1875 to Addie A. Scram. They are the parents of one child, Mrs. F.N. Freeman. Mr. Mosher is in the furniture and undertaking business as partner of Mosher & Sprague establishment. His portrait will be found also in the group of Odd Fellows.
