McLeod ( Scotland, AL, NC, MS ) I am searching for information on Norman McLeod born c.1807 Sct or NC Married Artilisse Cockeroff c.1838. Moved to Alabama. Records show he was Justice of Peace in Covington Co., AL 1844 & 1847. 1850 censes Covington Co, AL shows Norman, Artilisse and 7 children. They had 7 additional children. We can not find any record of Norman after the 1850 censes. Artillise and 10 children moved to Moss Point, MS between Oct 1863 and Nov 1866. Will share information on children and later generations. McCloud ( VA ) My oldest McCloud is Daniel McCloud, who died in Russell Co Va after 1850, probable 1852, and was born 1752 in a unknown area. One of his children, Henry McCLoud, my line, says that he was born in Russell Co, Va 1807. James Goode at jjg@citynet.net

McCloud ( IN ) John McCLOUD, died 1819 in Lee Co. He married Elizabeth Polly PAGE. She later went to Hendricks County, Indiana and married a William SCOTT. Is this Elizabeth PAGE the sister of Williamson PAGE, who married Elizabeth McCLOUD (1801-1880), daughter of John McCLOUD ...AND are these two John McCLOUDS one in the same? Thanks! MCLEOD/MACLEOD ( Scotland, Canada, ILL, ) Bella (Isobelle? Annabelle???) - She or her family was from the Isle of Skye, Scotland/married John SMITH - had at least one son, Albert Melville SMITH b. 26 Jan. 1897, somewhere in Canada. Albert served in the RAF in Egypt & the Sudan during World War I, appeared in Chicago sometime in the 1920s or 1930s, and married Alice Elizabeth HEDRICK in 1936 in Kansas City, MO. Need to find other present-day or ancestral family members. She was my paternal grandmother; Albert was my father, and died without giving me any more information about where in Canada he was from or whether he had siblings, etc. Thanks for any help you can offer,

One son STEWART SANDIFER McLEOD b. 1926 Looking for direct ancestors from Scotland. No idea when or how or who made the trip from Scotland to Canada.

McLeod (Scotland, NY, KS) Have been searching for Thomas McLeod, b. abt. 1800-1810 pos. Isle of Skye, Scotland. Came to New York State, married Sarah Boyd abt 1830, had, among others, James Thompson McLeod in 1833 and Lavina (Parker) McLeod. Thomas died ? in New York State and sometime ? his family moved to Kansas. James Thompson died in Phillipsburg, Kansas in 1914. Information is sketchy at best, would appreciate ANY information.
