Descendants of Ebon McCloud

The following is a skeleton of my McCloud line as I know it now. It all starts with Eben who is a mystery. Family tradition is that at age 16 he and an older brother stowed away on a ship to America and were discovered after the ship was at sea. They worked to earn their passage and upon landing went to Ohio to find an older sister who had preceded them. I have been unable to find any evidence of his coming into any port however. My first concrete evidence of him is in the 1860 Ohio census in Delaware County with his wife and 2 year old son living with 25 year old Josephine McCloud. I don't know who Josephine is and there were three other McCloud households with nearly consecutive "dwelling numbers" which could mean that they were neighboring dwellings (farms ?). Lavinia McCloud lived in number 316, Emory McCloud in number 317, Jas. McCloud in number 318, and my Eben in number 320. I have nothing to tie these all together.
