Our Bradley Family

Jessie Bradley a blacksmith by trade, son of Lawrence Bradley (b.1732) and -, was born Aug 28, 1787 in Staley, Randolph NC, died Feb. 26, 1875 in Morgan County, IN., He married Lucretia Caveness Feb. 14, 1810 Rowan, NC, she was the daughter of Frederick Caveness and was born April 26, 1791 and died Nov. 28, 1864 in Morgan County, IN. The children of Jesse and Lucretia include:
Miles, William, Lawrence, Henry, Richard, Joseph and Eli.
NOTE: Prior to migrating to Morgan County, IN, Jesse owned 300 acres of land on Brush Creek near the village of Staley, NC. In late 1823 he sold the land for $1.00 per acre and went that same year to Indiana in a wagon train. He left four brothers in S.C. Lawrence, Ambrose, and Asa in Pendleton Co., S.C. and George in Greenville Co., S.C.
Lawrence Bradley, son of Jesse Bradley and Lucretia Caveness was born Jan 23, 1816 in NC, he married Margaret Collins Dec. 1, 1842 in Morgan County, Indiana, she was born abt. 1816. Their children include:
Margaret, Susan F. Martha, born 1851, married Caleb Mosier on June 7, 1870, Miles J. and James.
NOTE: Lawrence and Margaret arrived in Wright County, Missouri sometime between 1870 and 1880 and with them are their children, Son Miles and family, Daughter Margaret J. (Bradley) Mosier and family, Daughter Martha (Bradley) Mosier and family, and Son James, all of whom appear on the 1880 census with the exception of Margaret (Bradley) Mosier and family who appear to have immediately went on to Cooper County, MO in which Martha the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret appears to have followed at a later date.
Margaret (Bradley) and Adam B. Mosier
Margaret Bradley, daughter of Lawrence and Margaret (Collins) Bradley was born Oct. 20, 1843 in Morgan County, IN, d. Jan. 25, 1921 in MO. She married Adam Bowater Mosier on March 6, 1864 in Hace, Morgan County, IN, their children include:
Adda, Lawrence, Margrett, John Adam, Charles, William, Ester, Everett and Emil.
